Art Contest Merch Designs
The Dead Baby Bike Club formed in 1996 and has been racing down the hills of Seattle with babydoll parts strapped to their customized bikes for the past 30 years. When they announced they were having an art contest to design merch for their 30th anniversary, I was so excited to take part in helping honor a holdout of grunge, DIY culture in Seattle.
I sent off my entries, and after some changes in color, they decided on the bike chain diamond with their initials for a tank top design, and the safety sign for their drink koozies.
