Hit It Raw is a clothing side project by Matthew Chichester of Simply Seattle.

Deliverables:

Vector and transparent png files in two different color variations.

When I’d heard that this project was being recommended to me, I started mocking up text-based logos that incorporated photography and film elements into the composition. Matthew is a photographer based between the UK and Seattle, and does a lot of sports photography. I wanted something that felt dynamic and referenced his work while still able to be used for custom apparel.

Matthew then asked to incorporate a peach shape, and said that he wanted a cheeky, fun spin on the idea. I took some elements that worked with the previous rough designs and reworked them with the peach imagery.

He was excited with this direction and we decided to follow through to the end result.
